Clinical Massage
Massage therapy is an important aspect of our services. We have two on-site massage therapists in our Millcreek office. There are many good therapists in Salt Lake, although we think we have the best. In addition, Dr. Cerami can communicate his clinical findings with the massage therapist, and can discuss the patients’ needs to achieve better and faster results. When combining complementary services, we can extend the health and wellness benefits of each treatment, benefiting the patient in various ways.
Types of Massage We Offer
Deep Tissue: Targets your deep layer of muscle and connective tissue. This is great for managing pain, breaking down scar tissue, and circulating blood flow.
Myofascial: Focuses on pain stemming from myofascial tissues by applying light pressure to stiff muscles.
Neuromuscular (Trigger-Point Therapy): Addresses chronic pain, circulation, postural issues, nerve compression and problems caused by overuse injuries.
Sports: Helpful for athletes preparing for an event, reduces recovery time, promotes flexibility, reduces fatigue, improves endurance and prevents injuries.
Swedish: Increases blood flow and circulation while releasing muscle tension.
Cranial Sacral: A gentle approach that releases restrictions in the soft tissues surrounding the central nervous system.
Lymphatic: Gently encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body.
Core Synchronism: Designed to restore balance, which results in activating an individual’s self-healing ability.
Clinical Microcurrent: Accelerates the benefits of massage therapy by using tissue specific resonance to relax, recover and enhance cellular function.
